Fursone womenswear tweed fabric development and quality follow-up
Fabric Development Partner

Your Womenswear Tweed Partner: Small MOQ, Big Quality

Fursone is a professional womenswear fashion fabric supplier and fabric development partner. We source raw materials directly in China and produce through selected specialist partner mills, with our own team following yarn, weaving, dyeing and finishing, final inspection, packing and shipping. Custom development starts at 300 metres per colour, and every bulk run is signed off on real loom-run sample yardage — not on an A4 swatch.

A Womenswear Fabric Partner, Built Around Development

Fursone is a professional womenswear fashion fabric supplier and fabric development partner. We buy raw materials directly in China — mainly from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai — and produce through a small group of selected specialist partner mills. Our own team stays on the job from yarn through weaving, dyeing and finishing to final inspection, packing and shipping. You can see what that produces in our Chanel-inspireret tweed og ulden overfrakke kollektioner.

What we are actually good at is development: multi-colour blends, slub and textured effect yarns, and stripe effects worked up to your brief. We manage the yarn sourcing, the production process and the quality follow-up so that the development sample and the bulk match. Textured fancy-yarn structures such as bouclé remain at the core of what we engineer — explore the klar-til-lager-programmet.

Quality Standards & Testing

Every bulk run is followed by our own team and checked against test methods published by the International Organisation for Standardisering — including ISO 12945-2 (pilling), ISO 105-C06 (colour fastness) and ISO 6330 (shrinkage). Product testing is arranged to your requirements and to the standards that apply in your market.

Testing On Request

We arrange product testing according to your requirements and the standards applicable in your market. Scope is agreed per project before production starts.

Sustainability Certification

If your programme requires a specific sustainability certification, we can arrange it on a project basis. Cost and lead time are confirmed separately before you commit.

Batch Test Methods

Batch checks follow ISO 12945-2 (pilling approx. ≥3–4), ISO 105-C06 (colour fastness approx. ≥3–4) and ISO 6330 (shrinkage approx. ≤3–5%), plus AATCC 20 composition checks. A composition test report ships with every batch.

A Design-First Development Process

Unlike volume-only suppliers, Fursone is design-first: we develop the effect yarn before we develop the fabric, because the soul of a tweed is in its yarn. See how that translates into our tilpasset udvikling service.

Effect-Yarn Development

We develop multi-colour blends, slub yarns, textured effects and stripe effects to your brief, and manage the yarn sourcing behind them so the development effect matches the bulk.

Vi bygger 11. Linton-style fancy-yarn tweeds for brands that want the couture look at a workable B2B margin.

Industriel konsistens

Batches are checked to ISO 12945-2 (pilling approx. ≥3–4) and ISO 6330 (shrinkage approx. ≤3–5%), with repeat orders running at roughly 95% similarity. Because tweed uses multi-colour, multi-fibre yarns, the exact composition percentage cannot be identical in every batch — see our indkøbs-FAQ.

Ofte stillede spørgsmål

Lær os bedre at kende

Er Fursone en fabrik eller et handelsselskab?

A fabric supplier and development partner — not a middleman. We source raw materials directly in China, mainly from Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, and produce through selected specialist partner mills. Our own team manages yarn sourcing, weaving, dyeing and finishing, final inspection, packing and shipping, so you deal with one team from development brief to delivery — see our tilpasset udvikling kapacitet.

Arbejder du med små brands?

Yes — small-B buyers are what we are built for: designer brands, garment factory sourcing teams and fabric wholesalers. Ready-stock fabrics ship from one roll, roughly 20–50 metres. Custom development starts at 300 metres per colour or per style. We treat a small order as the start of a long-term programme — browse the klar-til-lager-programmet.

Hvilke certificeringer har du?

We arrange testing to your requirements. Batch checks follow published test methods — ISO 12945-2 (pilling approx. ≥3–4), ISO 105-C06 (colour fastness approx. ≥3–4), ISO 6330 (shrinkage approx. ≤3–5%) and AATCC 20 (composition), published by ISO. If your market or programme requires a specific sustainability certification, we can arrange it on a project basis; cost and lead time are confirmed separately.

Hvad er din mindste ordremængde?

Ready stock: from one roll, roughly 20–50 metres. Custom: 300 metres per colour or per style. That quantity is enough to build a full sample collection and test the market while keeping cost and risk under control. Re-production of a discontinued bouclé tweed or slub design normally starts at 500 metres.

Leverer du stofprøver?

Yes — you get swatch and colour cards for style reference, but we never ask you to approve bulk from an A4 swatch alone. Before any bulk run we weave 50–100 metres of sample yardage on the same process as production, so you can judge weight, hand-feel and loft and make a real garment. Sampling takes 7–15 days; bulk runs 25–35 days after approval, or 15–20 days rush when capacity and yarn are reserved in advance. Anmod om prøver.

Hvordan sikrer I kvalitetskonsistens?

En firetrins kvalitetskontrolproces: raw-material inspection, in-process monitoring, finished-fabric testing and pre-shipment verification. Batches are checked for pilling (ISO 12945-2), shrinkage (ISO 6330) and colour fastness (ISO 105-C06), and repeat orders run at roughly 95% similarity. Because tweed uses multi-colour, multi-fibre yarns, the exact composition percentage cannot be identical in every batch; we keep the visual effect and hand-feel consistent within the same recipe and issue a composition test report for each batch — see our tjenester.
