Custom Bouclé Development: From Swatch to Bulk

A vertically controlled route from reference to bulk – no outsourced steps, no brokered yarns.

1

1. Send Your Reference

A photo, physical swatch, or tech pack. We return a feasibility assessment within 48 hours at no cost – including which loops we will spin in-house.

2

2. Loop-Yarn Engineering

The step most mills skip because they cannot do it: we spin custom bouclé, slub, feather and metallic loop yarns in-house. Loop size, twist and density are engineered to your reference.

3

3. Hand-Loom Sampling

A4 hand-loom samples and lab dips in 7-10 days. Compare against your reference under your lighting; we iterate fast.

4

4. Bulk with Batch Control

Approved designs move to industrial looms with batch-to-batch control. Archived recipes deliver 95%+ consistency on re-orders, protected by NDA.

Every custom program is covered by a signed NDA – your bouclé patterns are never resold to third parties.

Bouclé Manufacturing FAQ

Answers to the questions buyers actually ask

What is the MOQ for bouclé fabric?

In-stock bouclé colorways start at 100 meters – ready to ship for sampling and small production runs. Custom-developed bouclé starts at 1,000 meters per color. The custom minimum protects loop stability: specialty yarns require minimum dye-lot and spinning inputs to keep loops consistent across bulk.

Can you match a Chanel-style reference swatch?

Yes. Send a photo or physical swatch and we return a feasibility assessment within 48 hours. We reverse-engineer the loop structure, yarn composition and colorway, then confirm with hand-loom samples in 7-10 days before any bulk run.

How do you keep loop density consistent between dye lots?

Every approved design is stored as an archived recipe – yarn specification, loop geometry and weave settings. Re-orders are woven against this record, delivering 95%+ consistency season after season.

What compositions can you weave?

Wool, nylon, viscose and acrylic blends, with lurex and metallic accent yarns for multicolor Chanel-style tweeds. Weights from 280 g/m² jacket bouclé to 550 g/m² coat-weight bouclé at 148-150 cm width.

How fast is custom bouclé development?

7-10 days for hand-loom samples and lab dips, then 25-35 days for bulk production. A 15-20 day rush option is available for urgent programs.

Can I test quality before committing to 1,000m?

Yes. Order from our 100 m in-stock program first – stock bouclé lets you test hand-feel and market response before scaling to custom production.
